    Growth Marketer

    We are hiring for our first full-time Marketing position, reporting directly to the CEO. At this early stage, you will have great impact and will be responsible for cultivating our company voice, developing unique content, devising and implementing growth strategies, and synthesizing site and marketing analytics.

    The Growth Marketer will be responsible for generating our inbound leads to hit aggressive growth targets, as well as educating current and future clients on our product. We are looking for versatile team players who can wear many hats, with the ultimate goals of reaching new clients (both companies and candidates) and establishing Alariss Global’s thought leadership in topics like international expansion, the future of work, technology in the emerging markets, cross-border commerce, and global labor markets.

    Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining nurture campaigns through HubSpot and automation for existing leads, owning inbound lead generation, search engine optimization, managing our English language social media accounts (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn), and experimenting with growth strategies. You will assist in setting campaign goals and optimizing performance towards down-funnel key performance indicators while achieving weekly growth targets.

    There is no typical day in a startup, so you will have to be adaptable—there will be no shortage of interesting challenges to tackle!

    Requirements

    • Fluency with various growth marketing channels including SEO, content marketing, and paid acquisition

    • At least 3 years work experience in a marketing role at a startup or virtual work environment (strong plus if the company was in the cross-border space)

    • Highly-developed written and verbal communication skills

    • Highly analytical—you can measure, analyze, and optimize the efficacy of the growth strategies you pursue and can use SQL to pull large data sets, analyze complex information, and automate routine analyses

    • Team player with the ability to work autonomously and juggle multiple projects at once

    • Ability to perform at high efficiency in a fast-paced environment—you can get an incredible amount done in a short amount of time

    • Proficiency using marketing and analytics software like Google Analytics, Buffer, Hootsuite, Heap Analytics, Amplitude, Optimizely, etc.

    • Experience working with journalists and bloggers for the purposes of getting PR a plus

    • Experience maintaining and growing a social media presence a plus

    • Passion for solving big problems and having an immediate and positive impact

    • Enthusiasm for international relations and cross-cultural collaboration
