    India Business Development Manager

    Alariss Global is hiring a business development manager for our India and South Asia Sales and Business Development team. 

    Alariss Global https://www.alariss.com/ is a fast-growing San Francisco-based tech startup in the global expansion space. We are backed by top Silicon Valley VCs and serve clients in China, India, Southeast Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Sub-Saharan Africa who are looking to expand into the U.S. market. The CEO has a Harvard BA, Princeton MPA, and Stanford MBA and was the former VP of Growth for a top 100 Y Combinator company, and the CTO has a Harvard BA and INSEAD MBA and is a former U.S. Diplomat. This position reports directly to the CEO and will offer the opportunity to gain skills in international business, grow with an exciting and inclusive team, and receive mentorship and professional development from industry experts. 

    The majority of the team is based in the United States and we are hiring for a business development manager based ideally in Bangalore, Delhi, or Mumbai.

    Your responsibilities will include sourcing, pitching, nurturing relationships with, and closing customers and partners in India—technology companies who are looking for global expansion resources and want to do international business, particularly in the U.S. Our target customers are high-growth technology companies, usually in the B2B SaaS space. In order to be successful in this role, you will do a combination of running various growth campaigns, including finding lists of leads to email followed by calling, and meeting with prospects either over Zoom or in person to educate them about our global expansion resources and to sign contracts. You are encouraged to attend relevant technology events and conferences and to find creative ways in which to accomplish the KPIs of generating revenue in India for the company. 


    • 5 years minimum of tech sales experience in a closing capacity
    • Demonstrated track record of success in relationship management and sales
    • MBA preferred 
    • Familiarity with lead generation and sales automation tools
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work remotely and with teammates in different time zones
    • High integrity and trustworthiness
    • Eagerness to learn and a demonstrated desire for professional growth
    • A good LinkedIn profile
